A Call to Action
In collaboration with partners and supported by Lumina Foundation for Education and The Joyce Foundation, Business Champions, Inc. is conducting interviews and developing profiles of business leaders and exemplary organizations that are making a significant contribution to advance policies and leadership so that more Americans gain workforce skills and earn post-secondary credentials with genuine economic value.
A competitive and highly skilled workforce will play an essential role in America's economic recovery and our longer-term capacity to thrive in a global economy. Given this urgent challenge, we are identifying and profiling business leaders and leading organizations which recognize this urgency and are taking action to create new solutions at the policy and systems levels.
Results of interviews will be developed into "Profiles of Champions" and shared with leadership in business, philanthropy, education and government. Insights gleaned are also informing the development of a national table at which like-minded leaders from business and philanthropy come together to advance shared agendas for workforce competitiveness and economic growth.
