We are pleased to announce we have transitioned results of our research and planning to Skills for America’s Future at the Aspen Institute.
Last year, as a part of our field work to engagement top business
leaders in change strategy, we joined forces with Penny Pritzker, Chair of the
Education and Workforce Committee of the President’s Economic Recovery Advisory
Board to plan and facilitate a series of seven White House meetings that brought
employers together to their role in solutions for America’s workforce
challenges.
These meetings produced important recommendations and led to
President Obama’s announcement of Skills for America’s Future at the community
college summit in October 2010.
Led by top-level leaders from the business community and housed at the Aspen Institute, Skills for America’s Future represents the next generation in business leadership to drive improvements in our systems. We encourage you to connect with them and learn about their work.
